Focaccia, burrata et courgettes crues

Focaccia, burrata and raw zucchini

We are big fans of assembly cuisine: plates that can be composed in a few minutes according to the mood of the moment. Toasts are obviously one of them. If, like us, you are lucky enough to have a baker who makes excellent focaccia, here is a suggestion with southern flavors.

Ingredients for one portion

  • focaccia
  • 1/2 burrata
  • zucchini
  • rosemary
  • our oak smoked forest honey
  • olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  •

1° / Cut a nice slice of focaccia. If it is very thick, you can slice it in the direction of the thickness to make two portions.

2° / Spread half a burrata on top of the focaccia. Cover the burrata with our oak smoked forest honey.

3° / Using a peeler or a mandolin, make thin slices of zucchini lengthwise. Place them on the burrata, giving volume, like tagliatelle.

4° / Add salt, drizzle with olive oil, and add a few sprigs of rosemary. Pepper optional.

    **note :
you can easily replace the focaccia with any shape of bread! Or make a pizza dough, cook it with a tomato base and do the same dressing when it comes out of the oven.
